This is crucial for part time workers. Many states have no protections against short shifts and split shifts. Just because a restaurant only needs someone for an hour doesn't mean they should make someone come in for a one hour shift.

I was taught it in the 60s at UCSD but not with much enthusiasm. Essentially, they said, "observe how much developing mammals look like fish."

I'm surprised that methane is not discussed more. It stays in the atmosphere for less time than CO2 so if we can curtail emissions we should see faster progress.
