This is my book, written by myself. It is a fictional account of a woman who returns to her childhood home to recover from trauma. She meets interesting people, gets a dog, drinks loads of coffee and heals a bit, then doesn’t. Found family is at the heart of this novel.

I wrote a book. It’s for sale on Amazon. I can’t quite believe it.

Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, and you will be subject to a lifetime of trying to get him to understand what you’re telling him and supporting his attempts to fish.

So just agree to give him fish for the rest of his life. It’s easier all round.

If we were all a little bit neurodivergent then it wouldn’t be divergent. Yes, some people have some neurodivergent traits, but that doesn’t make them neurodivergent. Yes we are all a little bit diverse from each other, neurologically included. But ugh. It’s a real thing.

Hello I forgot all about Bluesky for a bit as I was too busy being overwhelmed by life. I wish I could say I’ve been busy but I’ve been hugely busy overthinking.

In NHS Fife, a woman has complained that a trans woman changed in the ladies changing. The trans woman in question has said she does not want misgendered in court. The furore is not about safety (for both) in changing rooms. It’s about someone’s right to misgender someone else.

I’ve come here to have a rant because I don’t have anywhere else to say it. Sorry.

My dear husband just called me a fascist because I do not believe anyone should ever be misgendered, in court or otherwise.

I was in M & S with my elderly mum and every time she came across someone like this she barged through without saying anything. I was behind her and kept having to say excuse me so they moved before she crashed into them. My mum has no confusion or anything, she just gets annoyed.
