You ruin nothing. Taking care of ourselves is hard and when people we live with blame us (chronically ill people) for something completely out of our control, it is they who are ruining things. I used to feel like this.

It's almost like chronically ill people can be a lot more likely of being stuck in relationships where people hate them bc they can't work. Everyone else thinks it's their fault.

It was almost 30 years ago, and I’m pretty sure I frisbee’d the life ring over his head a few times.

We were each on 30 foot small boats in the Mediterranean, off the coast of Spain. His boat pulled alongside ours and he jumped way too soon.

One did fall overboard right in front of me on a small boat. Not much of a splash.

When I was in the military, we called officers and enlisted like Hegseth, rocks. They made a lot of noise about themselves, with no experience, thought they knew better than leadership, but in reality they took up space, did nothing and often weighed down everyone else.
