Very interesting. I also imagine with the current cancelations that women are more greatly impacted since they are more likely to be involved in DEI etc. scared to see what the data looks like in 2025.

Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility.

There’s much to do everywhere so that trans and non-binary people can live without fear.

Our single point of reflection is this:
what’s your organisation doing to support trans+ people?

After 25 years, NIH funding ends for child educator at Duquesne University β€˜It’s bigger than the science.’

Take that, nerd! We don't want to fund your woke Marxist research on "relieving stress and anxiety in adolescents." Children are the future and the future should feel bad.

You know who did read the grants that are being terminated? At least three experts in the field from around the country read them really carefully, and they and a whole panel of dozens of scientists rated them among the top 10% of applications.

Apparently we're funding based on word searches now.

It’s been buried in all the news today, but every scientist in the US should pay attention to this:

Mike Lauer went out on a limb for us all, sending out a memo saying institutes should start awarding grants. And it looks like Trump/Musk fired him for that. πŸ§ͺ
