I have the weather on my phone, and I got a really nice timer that sticks to my fridge with magnets. And yeah, whenever anything updates, I immediately search for how to turn that crap off if possible.

You can’t tell if someone is disabled just by looking at them.

There’s no such thing as the “genuinely disabled”.

You are not entitled to a person’s entire medical history just so you can decide whether to believe them or not.

People are not faking disability, most are trying to fake being well.

I could see that with knit stuff, especially with the really finely done small weight yarns. I just can't recall the last time I saw anyone at all wear a shawl, and I haven't seen people wear any scarves in... oh at least 15 years or so.

I highly doubt anyone over the age of maybe 12 in the Western world confuses veggies and tofu with meat. If they do, perhaps the educational system failed them. Prevent fraud, but I'm sick of "gullible and stupid" being the presumption.

Just had a strange revelation. I love to #crochet. I like handmade knit stuff. There must be a million patterns out there for scarves and shawls. I've made lots. But in all my decades of life and places I've been, I've never actually seen someone out and about just wearing one... weird.
