I'd like to start a running post with information for the event on Sunday, June 22nd. Celebrating Bruce McCurdy's life. It's at 1:00 PM MST.
I am going to make this a thread, as links do weird stuff to post engagements, and I want to make sure that everyone that wants to see this does.
We will do our best to accommodate anybody who wishes to attend in person, the event will also be live streamed with details to follow as technical preparations are made.

Additionally, as we're trying to gauge the interest for his celebration, you can RSVP for the event here:

Thanks! That's the plan as far as I know!

Terrible news to get this AM about his passing.
RIP Bruce. Condolences to @kmccurdy.bsky.social and the entire McCurdy family.
"Not a penalty."
19.01.2025 20:28 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0- I would expect new lines and pairings at practice. Clearly its time for a bit of a deck shuffle.
-Draisaitl had some brilliant moments today at times.
There's not much else to be said, they stunk today. On to the next one.
- Henrique had a pretty good bounceback game. Was visibly motivated against his former team.
- Pickard was a mixed bag. You want a couple more stops, but he also prevented this from being a blowout.
- The top line is struggling. Badly.
- Brilliant shift by Bouchard leading up to his goal, including an excellent DZ entry denial and then a wicked wrister to score. Game was not free of bobbles, but he was probably near the top of the Oilers "best" (used loosely today) players.
30.12.2024 06:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Let's pickpocket a few things and move on:
- Nurse was brutal, full stop. On for 3GA, directly culpable (or literally the cause of as the case may be) at least two of them. GameScore of -3.4 the worst on either team by a mile.
After playing not a terrible first period, the wheels came off the train in the second and didn't get better from there.
30.12.2024 06:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0If you folks want to see what a team looks like when they're getting absolutely bodied analytically, have a look at this:

Bluesky exclusive: I'll do my best to post these threads here as well again. I kind of fell off the rails awhile back, but I know a huge chunk of Oilers ex-Twitter is here.
Honestly just dumpster that tape. Full team shitshow.

I get freedom of speech and all, but this lady is not right in the head. What she does isn't and should never be considered acceptable.
06.12.2024 05:37 โ ๐ 11 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Let's trade the last of our grit, what could go wrong. I have no interest in a goalie that thinks he's worth 12.5 million.

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.
I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc
- Brett Kulak played like 23 minutes tonight at all strengths. He's really munching these new minutes we're giving him. Love it.
Anyhow, that's all I have time for tonight. It was a pretty fun game overall, certainly better then last night, and something they can continue to build on. (8/8)
I get why they did it tonight and it worked.
- To my eyes Janmark is starting to come around from his little slump, which is nice to see.
- That was one hell of a tilt between Brown and MacEwan, not sure how much value it brought to the game, but it was at least a little entertaining. (7/8)
