I have a hard time squaring that with the vehemence and unforgiving treatment being given to someone who showed signs of not being entirely in control of their mind or impulses. It seems… fundamentally unkind.

It’s been 10+ years for me but there used to be good community there. Not stigmatizing people for their darkest thoughts, emotional support through pain and hardship, which is what the “MCR saved my life” talk was about. There was a message about living through pain and surviving to the other side.

It’s been a while since I was an active member of the My Chemical Romance fandom, but I find it a little disturbing how many people I see posting some extreme statements about someone who seemed pretty clearly mentally unwell with not a lot of support for that.

I didn’t realize until near the end that the Jack o Lantern is singing along to the song! I love it, these are always so fun

Party Bear, a Beanie-Baby-style bear with a confetti pattern, and Lettie, a Betty-Spagetty-style doll with dark skin, purple hair and purple and black crop top and skirt, run away from a giant rolling bouncey ball down a bright orange hot wheels track. Party Bear carries his tag like a shield, and has a plastic cocktail sword at his hip. Lettie carries a dress-up princess wand that is the size of her body. Behind them is a blue volcano with more bright orange hot wheel tracks, and a sea of bouncey balls around them.

Four characters, based on various toys (Polly Pocket, GI Joe, Betty Spagetty, and a Beanie Baby Bear) in a pixel-y, point and click computer game style. They are returning a Tamagotchi with an egg image on it to a quilted nest with three other Tamagotchis.

"How can I make comics" Panel 2, me as a simple cartoon "Oh that's ok, comics work..." panel 3, me as a very crudely drawn figiure my head tilted at a funny angle and Im saying "No matter your skill level" Panel 4 more simplistic drawing of me holding a ruler "As long as you can (sorta) draw a straight line " "(I use a ruler)" Panel 5 even more simple drawing "And a bubble" next (final) tier Panel 1 A simple circle with two dots for eyes and a small line for a mouth and a balloon coming from his mouth saying "People can be quite forgiving about the artwork" Panel 2 the round simple face meets a spikey simple face, spikey says "I'm not - I like GOOD artwork" me - "Oh" Panel 3 me (still a smiley face, but straight line mouth ) I have two stick arms raised up with little stick fingers and I'm saying "...Sorry..." Spike says "Bah" Panel 4 (last panel) Me, slightly better drawn (but only just) "OK - not everyone is quite forgiving about art" "BUT I AM" "Good luck!"
