one of my all time faves tbh. i just love corvus, he makes every art better for me, lol.

sometimes i feel weird for not shipping snack as an inherently toxic thing people love so much, but then i understand "if i saw them in such a way, i wouldn't create corvus", and it makes me feel a bit better.

i can't really explain it, but i love drawing them sleeping together at least somewhat peacefully, and it all started with this art and a couple of fics where sleeping together helps them fight off their nightmares 💔

tbh, i don't see a lot of progress in this couple of years, but maybe something is visible from the outside💀

Tbh, I kinda went on quite tangent here, but I'm just exhausted and have a bit more thoughts than "AI sucks" about it all.

Before AI we've already had problems with non-caring audience, overworking artists and schemes to get more attention and etc, now we just have AI on top of it. In some aspects it makes it all worse, but the fertile soil for it all was ready.

And also, tbh, as much as people talk about "I'd prefer an amateur low-skilled art to AI", I think it's not true. Most people will actually prefer AI art to amateur low-skilled art (depending on specific group, with a "as far as they don't know it's AI" condition).

So some artists start using AI to try to be better for this public. Faster, closer to expectations and etc. Some use it as artstyle goal, some use it as some part of their process (honestly and openly or not - another topic).

And for people who in last several years has turned into the audience who doesn't see artists as people and at best gives you several likes and forgets about your existence forever, because there are thousands of other artists to like... What is really the difference?

AI in its unconsious nature imitates perfection, and it's mostly works as great content produce for general public who doesn't look too deep into it. If you don't look too deep into details or know where to look to see that art doesn't make sense, in non-outrageous stupid cases AI looks good.
