Best to throw a towel to clean it up and see what happens next. Best case it’s a slow thing that gives you time to prepare for a repair.

The downside about a lot of basement drains is it’s possible they could’ve cracked due to the house settling depending on how long ago they were installed. If it doesn’t smell, at least it didn’t come from sewage back up most likely it’s just because of the rain.

Loving talking to my engineers and IT coworkers. Makes me sad I’m not apart of their teams because I just know it’s the place I belong 😭
