That’s correct. NJ changed the law a bit which kept the nationals here… they were all going to leave the state. That’s not hyperbole.

…is litigation! The law in both states guarantees litigation against the developer. HOA’s sue without fail, and there’s a cottage industry of plaintiffs lawyers who do nothing but this. Hence, insurance costs are astronomical and you have to be one of the big nationals to do anything of size.
