Real talk: This has been a tough semester, especially when I didn't get a job I applied for. But then a student gave me this note yesterday after we finished up the last class of the year, so maybe – the occasional rejection and frustration notwithstanding – this is what I should be doing after all.

Very excited that this article is out in the world! Lottie Beth Hobbs was a Church of Christ secretary, Sunday School teacher, author, and one of the most influential opponents of the ERA.
