It really should not have taken that much time and energy. That position wrt Highways is very long established so this can only have been an unnecessary exercise in frustration for residents.

Interesting - I'll take a look into Baton Rouge for sure. I had assumed that Nashville was very touristic so maybe the dynamic is tourists / residents / bar visitors? Now I'm wondering if/how night time economy tourists change the feel of a place compared with just "regulars" 🤔

That sounds familiar - like some office to residential conversions in the UK. Horrible. Aside from the acoustic design, would you say the area actually set up for residents or is it more skewed towards the tourists / visitors to bars etc?

Team Urbanism... any top examples of places where residents live immediately adjacent the night time economy and thrive? Especially places with good design and community, plus noisy nightclubs and bars 🙏🏼

The community pantry that they run is well stocked and well used - this is the fourth community pantry I've visited since my term started. The fact we need them is appalling. But I'm so glad that teams like this are around the county.

I really enjoyed Nansa Visible festival today, speaking about barriers that neurodiverse people can experience in democracy. When it feels as though The System works against you, we have to invite every single person our community to find a way in to help change things.
