The quiet one who daydreamed reality away

Now I’m a crone with the same wild hair
Who still daydreams
But now out loud

The other mage slowly lowered the pie, looking rather sheepish. He had learned a few things from Gammer Goodhiding, too and Ilbnot brushed down his robes feeling rather full of himself. Until the pie hit him. Mages simply weren’t quite as accomplished at intimidation as witches. -+- 1. It was a gift. Which, coincidentally, was exactly what he had stepped out to buy. It simply was incredible how these things just seemed to happen at the exact right times. Frankly, some people might think it was done deliberately. 2. Doubtful.

And with that writing session, “Threads of Fate”, the fifth full-length novel in my series homaging Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, is complete. A little over 108k words.

Next up, “Prophet Hearing”, in which a conman gets an earworm. Literally.
