Sometimes we gnomes like to climb up and lay in these on a cool spring evening, the pollen can be intoxicating and some gnomes have been known to lose weeks at a time, lost in the maze of the spider lily spores. Sometimes gnomes go missing

What have they done to the forest

Old nonna gnome used to have her little gnome home in the middle of that field beneath a big old oak, she lived there for 300 years! The magical forest glade is all gone ..

Looks comfortable for a lil tiny guy like me to sit on and take in the view around the magical glade

One large Spotted Mistcap in a ginger root broth can yield powerful effects β€” you can travel to the gnome dimension!

Tread absolutely silently as you approach the sleeping drake to harvest a single Spotted Mistcap from its beard

Everyone deserves to be bathed in the refreshing mist of watermelon

I’m a little gnome and I spend my time foraging for little fruits and berries to share with my fellow woodland critters

A very cosy spot for a lil nap

Sometimes I find an especially ripe pod of peas and will always trek the distance to share it with a duckie

I like to knit little pouches for the squirrels I know, so they can carry more nuts

I like to sit on a branch with a grape and slice off little segments and share them with an old snowcap friend

I helped a few other gnomes nurse a wounded anchovy back to health. It grew in size many times over and one day I rode it miles out to sea using a little acorn saddle. Luckily a dolphin saw how sleepy I was getting and when I awoke the dolphin was tucking me into bed safely. Thankyou dolphin friend

We gnomes often sit for hours relaxing beside the pond at sunset

Alex what are you doing so far from the glade at this hour

Thatch yourself a hardy roof with beanstalks

I thought this was a jar of pickled raisins for a second there

There’s always another pickled raisin on your horizon

Not true. When I was a wee gnomelet just a few short centuries old, I knew a wise old gnome from a neighbouring glade who fashioned a bicycle from birch twigs and pine needles. One spring morning he rode off into the hills, spouting wild claims to circumnavigate the entire pond!

I am perplexed, since thought I might find more information about the humblest of vegetables on this page. I see very few stories about onions

How could one ever forget their boundless love for our feathered friends! After a long day of foraging, when I tuck into my burrow and rest my head down at night, it is only the gift of discarded feathers that keep me cosy and warm, ensuring the frosts stay at bay

I should be so lucky to stumble upon such a fine, juicy and trustworthy apple! I’m my youth, many moons ago, such a find was not so rare!
