Old nonna gnome used to have her little gnome home in the middle of that field beneath a big old oak, she lived there for 300 years! The magical forest glade is all gone ..

I helped a few other gnomes nurse a wounded anchovy back to health. It grew in size many times over and one day I rode it miles out to sea using a little acorn saddle. Luckily a dolphin saw how sleepy I was getting and when I awoke the dolphin was tucking me into bed safely. Thankyou dolphin friend

There’s always another pickled raisin on your horizon

Not true. When I was a wee gnomelet just a few short centuries old, I knew a wise old gnome from a neighbouring glade who fashioned a bicycle from birch twigs and pine needles. One spring morning he rode off into the hills, spouting wild claims to circumnavigate the entire pond!

How could one ever forget their boundless love for our feathered friends! After a long day of foraging, when I tuck into my burrow and rest my head down at night, it is only the gift of discarded feathers that keep me cosy and warm, ensuring the frosts stay at bay

I should be so lucky to stumble upon such a fine, juicy and trustworthy apple! I’m my youth, many moons ago, such a find was not so rare!
