Results from the Ocher sub-assemblage zone! This was our first look into the Permian of Russia. The Russian Permian was for the longest time the biggest influence on our idea of this period, besides the red beds in the US. Never the less we rarely think of these formations etc.

If you want to make your backyard a safe haven for lesser dragons, you must keep a close eye on your pets. While it is unlikely that a curious kitten will be able to cause a dragon physical harm, the egos of these small wyrms are as fragile as they are beautiful.

Paranthropus aethiopicus. We go way back. Ever since as I read about the discovery the black skull KNM WT 17000 from one of the popular books by Richard Leakey I have been mesmorized by it. As a kid I even sculpted the skull from roma plastilina. Its just iconic and very intriguing specimen. #sciart

The hippalectryon is so named because it has a horse-like front half and a rooster-like back half. This flightless relative of the pegasus is one of the primary grazers of the Antarctic steppe, and gathers in great numbers during spring to lek. Dwarfs call it "kjukhross".
