1/2 This is appalling in principleβ€”and shocking in detail, if you Zoom in on specific parcels offered for rush sale. www.wilderness.org/articles/med...

Eg (shown in dark green) Forest Service land people use for hiking, camping, horse-riding, general outdoors-ing in San Bernardino Mountains.

A great way for Senate Democrats to protest what’s going on is to not have almost 40% of the caucus keep voting to advance a money laundering bill.

i think your typical democratic voter will respond much better to "they hate this motherfucker in the white house as much as i do" than endless flagellation over biden, especially since the latter looks weak and reinforces all the worst stereotypes about democrats!

I don't think they'll ever about the were wrong about him. If they ever stop supporting Trump, they'll say *he* changed or some similar nonsense.

I love crocuses! I've planted several varieties, including the earliest blooming variety I could find.

They bloom when winter is gray and feels like it'll never end. It's always a delight to see them.

Their cheer was particularly comforting this year.

Thank you for your service

@kuer.org I have no idea how Doug Fabrizio's head didn't explode when John Curtis insisted that T wearing a purple tie meant things were going to be different in Washington this year.

*My* head almost exploded. I did yell at the radio.

But reading your book was a gift.

I had no idea the school (and church) had a more liberal phase. No idea how just a few members at key moments turned the school and the church so far right.

There was so much richness there, and I got to celebrate that through your book.

Thank you for that.

Same. But I was so grateful to know the full history. I attended in 01-05, and it was pretty lonely as a liberal student back then. A kid in one of my English classes was outspoken against invading Iraq and I wished I had his courage. (I never knew if he left or was expelled the next semester.)

I also had a great experience at BYU, with an amazing adviser and wonderful friends. Working at the Faculty Editing Service was my dream job.

Reading your book on what BYU was like in the 1920s broke my heart at what it could have been

I'm deeply uncomfortable with what it's becoming under Gilbert

The upshot is that Donald Trump remains constitutionally disqualified from the presidency and may not lawfully serve in that office or any other unless Congress removes the disqualification by two-thirds majorities of both houses. Nothing in Trump v. Anderson changes that legal reality. If Donald Trump was constitutionally ineligible to the presidency on March 3, 2024, the day before the Court’s decision, he remained constitutionally ineligible on March 5, the day after its decision. And he remains ineligible today. A variety of potential avenues to enforce that disqualification remain. Sweeping Section Three under the rug thus may merely have postponed the day of ultimate constitutional reckoning.

Remember the argument that the insurrectionist soon to take office is disqualified by the Fourteenth Amendment?

I know, vaguely. But (1) it’s still strong and (2) SCOTUS didn’t reject it. See Baude & Paulsen, Sweeping Section 3 Under the Rug (Harv. Law Rev 2025) papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....

Cymbalta was the worst for zaps for me too. Got to the point where I was zapping 50+ times per day just from taking it, and there's hardly any scientific literature on zaps not related to tapering.

Seeing you post this was super validating *AND* I'm so sorry you're experiencing them.

I don't know if it's helpful, but Meg at @learnplaythrive on IG has a list of OTs and therapists that have completed her neurodiversity-affirming CE courses.

The OT we found through the directory was SOOO great with my kiddo. I absolutely recommend her and her courses.

I came to write about this exact one, except "Fuck" is the word made of guns out here.

I cannot get the mindset of someone who would put that on the back and both side windows of their large SUV.

It felt shocking to see that much hate displayed so brazenly in a neighborhood full of kids.
