Trump claimed that DOGE has uncovered billions in “fraud, waste, and abuse.” However, no evidence has been provided, and all public fraud claims from both Elon Musk and Trump have been debunked as false.

In elementary my parents took me out of school. I learned to be a good wife/mother, how to convert non-believers, debunk evolution, and pray for a Christian nation.
But even at 10 I knew this shit was wrong & fought back.

It’s terrifying and deeply triggering to be back here at a national level.

So I know the fight will be long and brutal, but I also know that our love, our joy, and our resistance will win out in the end- because it always does.

What we have that these people don’t, is a true community. True ancestral connection to our blood and community relatives. True love for one another.

Resistance flows through our veins. Resistance is our very existence.

And when you combine that with decades of resistance in Queer, Black and Brown, Disabled, and other marginalized communities - you have a people with both lived and ancestral knowledge that will guide them to liberation.

But I am still here.
I am still alive.
I am still queer.
And I’m not the only one.

And the problem for them, is that I, and every other one of the children who survived their cult, knows that escape, deconstruction, rebuilding, and joy is possible.

They tried to break us, tried to completely control us, tried to isolate us from the world, tried to kill our will to fight, and tried to kill our identities. Myself, my friends, and my siblings suffered, many through very real violence, under the guise of making the family great again.

How do I know we will survive Project 2025?

Myself and my siblings were part of the generation that they tested Project 2025 on.

We hear A LOT from PhDs in academia, but there are a lot of us non PhDs who are doing the brunt of a PI’s labor, getting none of the glory, and having no push or sway on matters regarding university/academia issues and I feel like we have a lot of valuable insight yet no respect.

Things are not hopeless.
Saying so not only shows your privilege, but is an insult to the black, indigenous, queer, disabled and other communities that have spent generations fighting against the same colonial violence happening today.
So put on your big boy panties and get to work fighting back.
