The geographic differences are subdued, but Zohran juiced out a lot more of his voters

great thread, this universe building strat is similar to how we've won in maine. for example in 2023 when we defended rent control we built a universe that was a combo of triple prime, younger voters and people we'd previously IDed as friendly. that let us double the turnout and win by 2/3rds

Great thread by Aaron providing an introductory overview on how he and other fellow @socialists.nyc members constructed the voter universe for Zohran's primary campaign.

One reason NYC-DSA has built much external power is that it provides internal pathways for members to learn key skills like this.

Such an important thread for everyone in DSA and particularly those involved with DSA electoral work to read!

We have an unprecedented opportunity to build momentum in local races all across the country and deepen our bench of socialist leaders. We must seize the moment!

Lotta peeps have been pontificating on the whys of the NYC Dem primary but if you want the actual story here it is...and contra a lot of conclusions, there is much here that is NOT candidate specific.
