American Tree Sparrows are one of my favorites to photograph because they actually stay still for a bit. This one showed off their trademark bicolored bill in the sunlight. What a cutie!

Trump swapping bureaucrats for loyalists is like firing the weatherman and hiring a guy who just loves sunshine. The government isn’t a reality show, but he sure wants all the contestants to swear loyalty to him. If expertise doesn’t matter, let’s start picking doctors based on their high-fives.
