This is proving to be quite complicated, but enjoyable.
Aligning the decks with the gun ports is tricky.
It's going to be capsizing so I am assuming many guns rolled or fell to the side taking on water.
Making the situation worse.
Trying to depict a country lane in early autumn Russia, the grass and foliage starting to yellow. And experimenting with transferring the vehicle scorching to the surrounding terrain. #histscalemodels

Some more buildings weathered up, ready for games. The sheds will be part of a factory complex. Two more buildings to add to that before finished.

Decals on, tail attached, protective coat sprayed. Time for weathering.
Anyone got recommendations for what panel line wash to use here? Should I just go black? Or something light and contrasty?

Dry fir of both sides and decks.
Looking good, I'll probably need some filler for some gaps.
Dry fit the decks.
The plastic posts are spacers and offer extra support for the new deck, 5.5 mm which I hope is correct.
The issue with the Airfix Mary Rose kit is that they have molded the netting that is over the upper decks as solid plastic.
So I am using plastic card to make the upper decks now they will be visible, also scribing planks into the card.
The Skydiver had snack vending machines for the crew.

There is a company (ScaleWarship) that supplies a detailing kit for the Airfix Mary Rose starter model.
I decided to have a go at using plastic card and plastic strips to produce similar components.

Finished the Chipmunk!
Quite pleased with the result.
Didn't like the way Airfix did the canopy though.
It comes in 4 pieces, yet really it could have been 2.
They provide a jig to assemble it, which is ridiculous really, they could have just provided another version of the canopy in one piece.
The all too familiar now โDrill Out Broken Ends & Add Pinโ gear repair finally happens on the B-25D Mitchell (fragile) front gear tonight. Onto work on the bomb bay and hatches. ๐ค (Letโs hope I donโt break this off in that process.) - Back at the bench for a bit #ModelAircraft #HistScaleModels

Tractor wheels pretty much done I thinkโฆI added a matt varnish to their middles, Tamiya rubber black to the tyres and a little AK enamel mud for a slight/subtle farmyard look...
