Look at the “bad” contracts and most have a no move or no trade clause. Players, agents and GMs I think have minimized this contract stipulation. It might be more valuable than 1 million per season. It’s going to be interesting to see who gets them this year and how their contracts are made.

Thinking about NHL contracts since free agency is only a few weeks away. How valuable is the no move clause for a player? Do they reduce their AAV by .5 million? Or does the team value it as closer to 1 million? Security for the player and hand tying for the team.
