Never seen Murder By Decree until now - the film’s ok but Plummer is amazing (and makes his way into my top three favourite Sherlocks)

Caught that Fantastic Four movie this morning. Better than the last few years of Marvel films but not an all time classic

Can we all just take a moment, a deep breath, and gaze in awe at Mike McMahon's jaw-dropping work on "Slaine"? Nothing else quite like it. It's like some ancient artwork, found carved into wood. Or daubed on stone somewhere. It's just... incredible. Some of my favourite comic art by anyone.

So this kills off the tv show? Any chance of those scripts/designs ever being published in the prog? Would love to see it

You’re right. I love both the series and the movie but neither is perfect. The series can be slow, and sometimes lacks tension. The movie can be frustrating - it’s an extremely streamlined version and cuts out some of the more interesting characterisation and relationships

The first Superman story I ever read. It was reprinted in England with this lovely Bolland cover
