Sorry, didn't realize you hadn't specified an author. These are all Terry Pratchett books. The Sam Vimes books are also excellent, but I've only listened to Stephen Briggs and Nigel Planer's narrations. I don't know about the newest v/a.

Indira Varma, who played Ellaria Sand in GoT and is just generally amazing, does the Witches books. I love her Granny Weatherwax. Equal Rites, Wyrd Sisters, Witches Abroad, Lords and Ladies, Maskerade, Carpe Jugulum, and then the Tiffany Aching books.
