I won't argue for which show is better throughout, but the finale for the Sopranos was better than Breaking Bad's finale.

Just finished my first full viewing of the Sopranos, and I am baffled at how poorly the ending was received when it came out. Is this not the best ending to a TV show of all time?

Biggest complaint about silksong is that act 3 changes the ambient music for all the zones to something that is almost invariably less interesting than the original 10/10 soundtrack.

Without spoilers, I get why, but it bums me out a little.

I always assumed Team Cherry was likely inspired by FromSoftware, and Hornet getting sent to the Hypogean Gaol confirms it.

25 hrs into silksong and I just finished act 1. This is easily GOTY, I still can't tell if it's harder than hollow knight or if there are just so many tools that the skill ceiling is that much higher. I feel like it's making me better at video games.

2 months into gaming on Linux and still haven't so much as needed to troubleshoot to get a game running, everything working out of the box. I've had more trouble getting my external hard drive mounted correctly than I had running RDR2.

Well designed liches are always skeletons (or maybe sometimes just a floating skull). Why would the strongest magical undead choose to take the form of their weakest minion? Make it make sense.

When did skeletons become weaker than zombies in fantasy media? As a kid I always assumed skeletons were stronger as they were "more undead" than zombies who still have signs of life clinging to their corpse.

I think Eddington takes a firm stance that it's poor vs rich not left vs right. I think there's room for disagreeing with that statement, but it's incorrect to say it doesn't pick a side.

Especially when the point of the film was to say class interests are turning you against your community, it is intensely depressing to see people call the movie bad for asking them to humanize their neighbors and actually try to build class consciousness.

One side literally kills people and the other side was a little smarmy. People's hackles are so raised that any perceived self-criticism is seen as uncritical support for the enemy.

Is there anything more validating towards Eddington's criticism than all the folks who somehow think it's "both sides-ing" the problem?
