When buying a new phone, especially if you’re the kind of person that keeps them for as long as possible, I’d always recommend to make the bigger investment and get the latest one.

It’s going to live longer, stay updated longer and have more time to age. The small price difference makes it worth it

In iOS 18.2 I can now pick default apps. However if I want to choose a different default messaging app… I have no choice but Apple messages.
