Speed yes, the other bosses will make things even faster and more intense.
Verticality maybe? I only just figured out how to implement the vertical movement for the boss, so I haven't thought that far yet.

Last skill: transfer YOUR stance damage to a target.
It's most effective when you're nearly stance broken yourself.
With that, the player moveset is finally complete. There's a few more things to add and balance, but the concepts for all 8 skills are settled.

New ability: an ice blade that can be dual wielded.
Inflicts Frost, increasing damage taken.
It's a little slower than regular attacks, but the versatility of the many follow-up attack options more than makes up for it.

Also, you can now see character silhouettes through walls.
(Still got a bit more work to do before the next playable update, though)
