But the minute she showed up the other two girls on the team were warm, welcoming and so much more than that, proactive in giving her love and support to get her on the pitch.

This was an election about nothing where no one put forward a vision for any version of Ontario. It’s a hallow win that comes with no real mandate and we’re just left with a tired and morally bankrupt government.

I abhor nationalism. It’s a plague. But thank you to the Trump administration for reminding Canadians that we have a wonderful country that’s worth defending, warts and all.

Turned on my domain based Bluesky handle. Pretty neat feature.

Yesterday I spent an hour outside walking the dog and then the kid to school. For some reason -20 wasn't so bad. Today at -25 I was pretty frozen in 10 minutes.

I'm such a nerd. I was walking the dog the other night and saw The Canadian Via Train going by and I shouted with excitement "Monty look it's the Canadian!" like a six year old ... Thank goodness the noise of the train ate the audio for any passerby.
