It was mostly testing different globe angles, using a grid or a height map, then experimenting different sphere UVs or not using a sphere at all and just a geometry curvature shader...
didnt take any progress shots, cause it was too painful to look at 😭

i had to double check if i had modified the grip or engine power of the car, this felt way faster than me driving haha
