currently working on a little desktop to-do list app in the hope that it will be helpful for keeping track of my daily activities, so I can remember to check in every so often without getting overwhelmed by the everything

I accidentally glitched out an animation I was working on and created a perfect example of what the passage of time feels like to someone with ADHD

i find it helpful to keep the docs open for stuff that has changed between versions. they have pretty good beginner tutorials in the docs and also best practices

Why did I never realize that you can create a Button node as a child of a Node2D and have it work completely fine for dragging?? 🤩

Also had to pull out the dampened springs for testing, and it didn't disappoint.

I think regular people don't know that a commercial license for game dev software on the lower end can be $80-100+, that it costs $100 plus a lot more labor to list a game on Steam, etc. That's on top of reliable software for art, pixel art, etc. that are vulnerable to adopting subscription model $$
