There can definitely be several factors. But at the end of the day he's had a terrible season. I think it's fair to say the lack of defense has hurt him but other issues can be true as well.

Yeah interesting stuff

Daccord has played significantly less games than Gru so the stats are going to weigh much differently. Goalies are very mental so I dunno maybe Daccord hasn't lost a level of trust in the defense like Gru may have. To be fair, I'm wildly speculating.

Get the defense game up and Gur wouldn't be peppered all day. He's probably in a bad mental place since he's not getting defensive support, which would make his skills dampen.
