amaze!!!

A ghostly white head with long hair and a circlet is trapped in a glass jar with a metal, spiky lid tied with chains. The head is screaming with its mouth open wide, while a purple ooze flows from it. The jar is on top of an altar of sorts with runic inscriptions on the steps leading to it. Behind it, a huge, dark creature with long extremities looms over the scene, with its hands surrounding the jar.

A red-haired dwarf with an eye patch, a mohawk and a manica and a Huge, muscular, long-haired character at a bar share a table, some drinks while playing and/or gambling. The dwarf has just leapt onto the table holding a massive axe and threatening to severe his opponent's hand, while the other begs him not to. In the background, a lively crowd cheers and laughs while watching the scene.

The focus of the illustration is massive cocoon-like formation made of gnarled branching shapes with a warm, eye-shaped light in the centre. In the foreground, a thick “branch” where a character is standing goes towards the background. The atmosphere is mostly blue and hazy, with some warm light particles floating around.

A horned and almost entirely covered creature stands in the middle of the picture. Frayed layers flow around its body, kind of disintegrating as they move. A dark face with bright eyes is barely visible. Behind it, we see a stony and almost organic setting in mostly cool colours. In the bottom of the frame, we see a small character looking at the giant creature, standing on an organic-looking pathway.

thought I will share some of the sketchbook work before the actual Divine Comedy paintings start, there are lots of different ideations happenning (sometimes), directions to pull the story in. Most of the time just lots of iterations

work so hard on a painting > share it > labels get placed > work gets shadow banned > no one looks at it > no engagement > hence no AD's or people in hiring poisitions look at the work > round and round we go.

o A massive creature with multiple reddish, fleshy and bony limbs, flies above a crowd cheering on it. Its face is human-like, and small in comparison. Above its head sits a halo emitting several rays from its centre. Its wings are formed by an indefinite number of thin limbs. Most people in the crowd below are raising their arms in adoration, and some of them are missing parts of their body. The sky is bright orange with greenish, ominous clouds.
