Florida, you say!?

Sounds like Tampa!

AGU registration fees are higher, too.

The tall tale from long ago is that all AMS conferences lose money except for two that subsidize the rest: the Annual and Trop.

Looking forward to that sideline fistfight!

There is a use case in hybrid CPU-GPU architectures that modern numerical weather prediction systems use. I know for a fact that The Weather company has a version of a weather model that was rewritten to run on GPUs.

Anyway, CFD makes a lot of sense, if not entirely sexy.

I appreciate the Flanders parents reference in the caption.

The offense.

Philly fans know ball. We know we have the most expensive offense in the NFL. We saw a terrific defense that kept getting gassed. The offense was better than only the Raiders in 3&Out rate.

The offense us rancid. It lies at the feet of the HC.

Fangio gets a pass.

It's popular with the Eagles fan base, I promise you that.

Honestly, this feels like a Mike McCarthy situation.

Gonna disagree there, Uncle Jimmy.

11.01.2026 23:44 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I disagree. I think Nick is gone barring a SB win. I think Patullo is gone regardless.

Only way I see AJ gone is if Hurts gives it the green light.

Nuance!? Where the hell do you think you are? 1995?

No. 1... In what, exactly? Denver and Houston got them in a couple key areas.

They're a great defense, but c'mon now. It's not the 91 Eagles.

Patullo sucks. He and Sirianni both need to be fired.

It feels like something April O'Neil in her nerdy heyday would have been (cumming) all over.

Only the best people are saying this. Can you believe what they're saying about him? The doctors, they took a look and said, wow, we've never seen a brain this solid. Only one is more solid, and that's mine. The most beautiful lead brain in history.

Wife is a teacher. Her salary got slashed in half when we moved from CA to FL. Cost if living did not decline by that same amount.

I think they blew it by going with FV3 over MPAS.

Basting is a total waste of time.

As a tech guy myself, it's fine if you accept that it's an over enthusiastic junior dev who doesn't exactly know when to stop.

The problem here is two fold. Execs think it's magic beans. Non-creative types who don't write/paint/do the music think that they are all of a sudden creative.

For CNN I'm looking to talk to young men (feel free to interpret "young" broadly) who are actively sports betting soberβ€”as in, you made a conscious decision to abstain for your wellbeing or you quit gamblingβ€”but are still sports fans. If that's you: Hannah[dot]keyser[at]cnn[dot]com

This seems to ignore the fact that Saquon is playing like butt and Bigsby is performing better with fewer carries.

On the flip side, Vic is a bonafide savant. Been great to watch.

I don't think that's appropriate.

The Decades-Long Plan To Rob FEMA To Pay ICE Trump is using regulatory tricks to funnel disaster-relief funds to immigration enforcement, even as climate disasters threaten millions.

🚨INVESTIGATION: Trump is exploiting a loophole buried in post-Hurricane Katrina legislation to stealthily funnel FEMA's disaster relief funds into ICE.

The Lever's Katya Schwenk exposes the secret scheme & how lawmakers created the little-known loophole - please re-post this on your own feedπŸ‘‡

It's the loss function. All those models are trained on MSE, which will give you the results you see.

The ensemble models are trained on the distribution. Now... Can the ensembles be forced to look outside the historical distribution? That's the interesting question.

There were a lot of ass, janky games in that PS1/N64 era because devs were laser focused on sprites since the beginning of the arcade. Video game development puberty years, I guess.

AAA 3D games are largely engagement farms, significant contractual obligations. Assassins Creed is the archetype.

The fact that the thing we're calling artificial intelligence *can't do math* and yet we're jamming it into programs that successfully *have done math* for decades, then warning people against using the AI to do math, seems like an excellent summary of where we are.
