That’s exactly how it used to be at my local Homebase. Sometimes it was genuinely upsetting to go there & see so many wilting or even dying plants, but, that said, I rescued many a bargain thirsty plant & brought them back to health & enjoyed them for years! That branch closed & I miss it a lot!

Now I’m double wowed: I didn’t even know that Lidl sold plants!!🙄
