I'm not as familiar with grime as dubstep, I've played a lot of Burial lately. Maybe we're looking for a particular kind of percussive/wobbly anchored sound? Something to mirror being off kilter, or maybe break through dull dissociated feelings of too much news? I'll check out more grime.

My brain and heart hurt so much today from the news. I think the only progress I'm going to make on my #Hookland story today may be in looking at @tomsbrown.bsky.social's past posted pictures and a new-to-me seed catalog.

Is it futile to imagine a public social media like NPR or PBS?

Set up new Wyze cameras replacing #Blink , it was unnecessarily difficult. Conflicting data about setup with 5G (it's not possible, but can make a 2.4G yourself). #Wyze got lots of new customers many of whom were as frustrated as me. My tip: put your phone on the new 2.4 before pairing the camera.

a pickup truck with an old Christmas tree that bounced into the road directly in front of us. I froze, the teacher swerved the wheel sharply and brought us to a stop and said we needed to do that again to conquer my fear. I got out and walked home. I still don't drive and I'm quite glad for it.
