I honestly don't know what you're on about. I am a graphic designer, I am not threatened by current AI, except in having to deal with increasing amounts of slop (I work in marketing). AI is helping pedophiles because they can easily create composites, and even use real images to train for fakes.

Even if it was "just" revenge porn, pedophilia, destroying commercial visual art of all kinds, education, fake news, it would be more than impactful enough, and it's so much more than that.

All the products aimed at consumers are more like that than anything you mentioned.

It's hardly kids on Fiver, at one point his name was the most used in prompts on Midjourney, I think, globally. And whoever pays for AI slop, even a fiver, is part of the problem, not the kid.

Greg Rutkowski can't stop people copying his work, but he should be able to stop a machine that has ingested all his previous work from excreting graphics that look like his work after being prompted "in the style of Greg Rutkowski", for profit.
