A large %of $ in the household went to cat care- food/litter.

The person I was involved with tried to save $ to get cats fixed.

That person has gone on to be living successfully, happily with good support.

Not so crazy clean unfortunately. They did get vet care though.
I was involved with an adult child for a few years and never set foot in the house.
You could smell it from outside in the summer.
Reports were made to service agencies.
House was ultimately condemned.

Sad all around.

At one point in my human services career I supported an individual who lived in a cat hoarder house, and they only had 30ish.
