We have universities capitulating to federal shakedowns, professors being chased from their jobs, and AI functioning as the very antithesis of thought and intellectual development. But the real crisis is that some students get more accommodations on tests to express more fully what they've learned?

When I was a TA, I had several students with this accommodation. If any student wanted to stick around for extra time, I honestly didn't care. I cared *deeply* about whether they knew the material, not how long they sat in the exam room.

Very few students *want* to spend extra time in an exam room.

The piece also oozes with the implication that "real" disabilities--the kind the ADA is "supposed to be for"--are physical, visible ones, and everyone else is probably faking. It's just gross.

Every time I see Clea Duvall or Burn Gorman I am perpetually perplexed that they're not related.

Like I'm sorry but I'm just not excited about more white (already very rich) women becoming landlords for sex work, you know? Pay sites are a necessary evil middleman post-SESTA/FOSTA but it's hard to imagine one that isn't built on the blood of struggling creators. Manyvids is a clear example.

I've only been doing SW for a few years but I've seen several "first platform[s] owned and operated by sex workers" come and go and they've all been scams or failures... I hope this isn't either of those things but I'm also not hopeful that it'll be anything other than a way of enriching its owners.

We can make as many new platforms as we want but they will all have to bend the knee to payment processors. We know who we must force change on.

I think it's ironic ST S5 is subverting so many tropes via things like "well the other characters walk off and leave friends to deal with their own dumbass actions" and ppl are stuck in trope-minded focus unable to see the shifts and balances to completely change the narrative

He's an artificer rogue type and he's not the worst character overall, but I do have way more interest in him when he's a wife(girlfriend)-guy with puppy dog energy over sad boy mode

He has taken a few narrative punches pretty hard and is better as a companion character than solo act for sure

Also last season Max was the most stoic/macho of the group
