With student loans in the news I decided to check my balance. In 2017- as far back as my statements go- my debt was £25,004.23. As of right now, the balance is £30,066.01. I’ve been paying it back directly from my salary ever since I graduated in 2012, and somehow it’s still grown by £5k.
