The #panamaplaylist thing is a little creepy, but... not nearly as creepy as the depth of psychosis you'd have to be in to listen to that Long Way Home song by Gareth Emery 60 times in a row. 60! It sounds like the music an out of touch CEO unveils a tone deaf product to. It's atrociously corporate.

Understand the Impact of a Layoffβ€”Before You Act Understanding the impact of a layoff can be difficult. We've developed this layoff impact analyzer to help you see the ripple effects.

the impact of a #RIF. I embedded it in a short post on our site. Complete an anonymous survey at the start and that's the only time I'm collecting any data you enter into this. But I'd like to know what folks think of the tool. Designed for #hr leaders.

#Layoffs are going on everywhere. Leaders are rushing in to layoffs to cut costs and hand things over to #AI where they can. But it doesn't always work out how they'd like. Leaders need to plot a course to the future carefully. So I created a thought exercise in the form of a tool to help analyze

The story of 2025. The year we sold ourselves short. The amount of layoffs by years end will be staggering at this rate. Retail leaders are going to want to start strategizing now how to cope, cause Christmas is probably not going to be the get out of jail card this year.

I have to be in LinkedIn as part of my job. But my god, the platform is just filled with volumes of absolute bullshit. Could do without it most days if I'm honest.

It's not an unpopular view, but when you talk to #hiring professionals, they often feel personality assessments provide some value. So what say you? We've got an anonymous survey for #HR and #recruiting professionals and a quiz to match you to a better assessment based on what you're hiring for.

β€œWe need to be really intentional in how we use AI. Not using it to do more but using it to create space to think and problem solve. That’s where we’re going to find innovation.”

More of this from leaders please.

At Running Remote this week in Austin. At a time when there’s a lot of politicization of #remotework, it’s important that innovators in remote work come together and help create more consistent and cohesive remote work experiences. I’ve seen a lot bot-like activity about in person being the only way

If only there was some process they could have gone through that would have determined he wasn't a good fit for the role. πŸ™„

Have to admit though, they nailed it in terms of "culture fit" for this administration.

This looks similar to a graphic we made recently as part of an article about focusing during chaotic times. You have essentially 3 circles you can invest your energy: your Circle of control, circle of influence and circle of concern. We all need to master this.

The amount of people who said they wouldn't do it, but then did list a salary range where they'd consider might also highlight just how dissatisfied people are with what they're being paid for what they do. Financial security is as key to employee satisfaction as ever. #HR #management #worklife

The younger age ranges are most likely to do it, with Millennials leading the way. It highlights my generation's burnout struggle and I think some of this willingness disassociate comes from this generation's experience since becoming adults and our frustration with the current moment.

31.03.2025 14:40 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The amount of people willing to do it just for a six figure salary tells me a couple things. 1) A lot of people over estimate what that amount of money will actually do for them. 2) Wages have failed to keep track with inflation so poorly that people think six figures is worth this.

One In Five Say They Would Give Up Their Consciousness at Work For A Better Salary We asked over 200 global respondents if they would accept having the β€œSeverance” procedure, separating their personal and professional lives

We ran a poll around the idea of would you get the procedure from the show #Severance if it meant you could make more money. The results were disturbing.

Civility, EQ and a Graduate Degree: Job Requirements That Should and Shouldn't Be in Your Job Ads Job requirements listed in job ads have officially gone off the rails. Here are some to avoid and some to consider for your next ad.

recruiters to comment on things they've seen in the market. Some of it will make you laugh, some of it will have your eyes rolling. But one thing is clear, we've got to bring sanity back to the job ad. #recruiting #hiring #jobs

So with all that in mind, why then would you waste anyone's time or include job requirements that are not directly related to the role, and in some cases ridiculous. Non-technical requirements is one of the areas employers go furthest astray here. We took a look at some of these recently and asked..

Some stats worth considering here:

1) 92% of people who click apply on a job ad never finish the application process.

2) 60% of people say they drop off if a job application process is too long

3) 50% of applicants fail to meet all of the qualifications for any given job.
