1956 university of Michigan Children’s Hospital. Three-year-old Peggy Kennedy enjoyed these ducklings paddling around in a tub. Peggy, a polio patient, wore a plastic chest respirator. The ducklings were donated by a local farmer to help cheer up the children.

Tranexamic acid (TXA) is widely available in the US but still greatly under utilized.

Despite being VERY effective.

Only 35% of those with postpartum hemorrhage received TXA and only 51% of those with severe PPH (more than 2.5 liters of blood loss!)
