One of the effects of electing a mean clown President is that my standards for profiles in courage have been lowered. I had nothing but mean to say about Pence or Liz Chenney, and had friends move away when George W was elected...but now they all seem relatively upstanding and even courageous.

My guess is that they predicted the shit show, and are wisely waiting till Trump screws over enough of his people for them to painfully realize that none of them are actually aligned with his goals. They all want an easy scapegoat, I think, abd need to see that they were fooled before being told

I laughed out loud when I saw this, and laughed again out loud when you posted. I guess it's possible that the absence of all that sweet, sweet blue state money which props up red states will open eyes soon enough to undo this clusterfuck before too many people suffer too much.
