I’m reasonably agnostic on identity cards in general but this sets off my Spidey senses. A world where women who don’t fit a certain way of looking and trans people have to scan or show their credentials just to pee. I wouldn’t put it past this govt sadly…

They seem to be trying to label asylum seekers forever more as ‘illegal’ even in the case that their application is successful. Sounds like a deliberate attempt to create a 2nd class of citizens that can be punished at any point in the future on political whims
