I'm disappointed the "very phallic looking dagger" wasn't that phallic looking but I burst out laughing when she killed him by throwing it at his dick

there's juuust enough moments that feel force but then also there's this moment where a character is talking about their magical half-ness and the character is mixed race and they let things go unsaid but the actor portrays a lot in a brief looks. It's good.

I'm watching the reboot of Charmed and... I'm not sure how to articulate the weirdness in the writing. It's like the writers understand that feminism and intersectionality are concepts and like them but... like... Get uncomfortable close to parody?

Also Lura Thok is amazing! I like how she comes out of the war college with everything that it teaches but still believes in Ake and her philosophy.

While not perfect, I do like Starfleet Academy. It still feels like Star Trek even as it explores this high school/college space. Nahla Ake is odd but that's the point. It's a universe overcome with distrust and violence, and she's radical in teaching people empathy and a better future.

A retelling of Greek mythology but the gods are broken up into different characters under their epithets. Aegiduchos, Horkios, and Xenios are all different... manifestations?... of Zeus. Or Zeus is a family name and they're relatives
