My son says he isn’t taking a loan. He’ll need to get more shifts at McDonald’s then. I don’t think he’s quite grasped how expensive life gets if you want to drive and go to pubs or pay for your ST.

It’s a real worry as Scottish students still graduate with £40k debt. A teacher I know graduated 5 years ago and pays £160 a month. They’ll be paying that forever decades still to come.
