Non-coffee content: Iβve just started watching game of thrones and Iβm 8 episodes into season 1. Maybe this is unpopular but the show is really predictable and the smut isnβt adding as much as it takes away. The only characters I like are the moral compass-aligned horse lovers.
Everyone else sucks.

Iβm in hibernationβ¦ but Iβll unleash soon. In the meantime come listen to my podcast Coffee Lit. Rev.
We review a paper with a coffee professional and figure out whether it is useful, if we learn anything, etc.

Do you think that mathematicians actually could escape some intricate rope situation using knowledge of topology?
Iβve always wondered if that translated to real skills

I get asked about how academics use and view LinkedIn. For me, LinkedIn is a platform to see where my students and collaboratorsβ students, and occasionally our colleagues,
end up.
The direct message portion is⦠ok⦠so long as you can look beyond the endless advertising popping up there.

New platform - time for new results.
Our lab is about to publish a series of industry changing electrochemical studies on coffee. Unlike some of our previous results, this field requires a fair bit of background chemical knowledge. Iβll do my best to teach it as the papers come out.
