So I went on a conservative β€˜news’ show and it got weird, fast.

I’m sorry but this gives me Hillbilly Elegy vibes. JD Vance went on TV in 2016 with a similar story to explain support for Trump back then. I’m not being sucked in by these stories again. We gave them 100s of excuses. They gave us an insurrection and a felon for president and Elon Musk.

Stop typing hard about why you want Harris to come outside and say a bunch of stuff she already said back when we actually could have prevented it, close the app, go outside, talk to your neighbors, form a community organization, do some actual work.

Black Americans have to know White Americans more than White Americans know themselves because our survival depends on it.

Most immigrant groups (including Black immigrant groups) think they know about Black Americans but they learned what they know from a White American perspective:

Blue resist accounts nonstop yelling for Kamala and/or Obama come β€œsave America” is beyond annoying especially because they couldn’t convince their own community NOT to vote for Trump - TWICE πŸ«€πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ€«πŸ€πŸ˜·

Since we are being erased in curriculums, books, military cemeteries, classrooms, history, and even workplaces...

As usual, your poem #Erased is very prophetic, on point, but deeply depressing. Can you write one that tells how we survive this latest attempt at erasure? πŸ™πŸΎ

Yeah we’re angry but ultimately it’s not Democrats fault.. it’s 77m republican voters, house and senate republicans, and Trump & Elon who got us in this mess.

Yes, @algreen.house.gov 's protest was phenomenal. But his effort was just one of many options available. It's great to recognize and praise Rep. Green's gallantry, but serious question here: what do we gain by denouncing different methods of protest used by other DEMS?

I have to wonder if it's willful ignorance or just sheer propaganda.

Measles outbreak in Texas rises to at least 58 cases β€” the state's worst in over 30 years A measles outbreak in Texas has led to 58 confirmed cases, making it the state's worst in over 30 years β€” and local health officials say additional cases are likely to occur.

In 2019, RFK Jr visited Samoa to spread anti-vax lies, spurring a measles outbreak that led to the deaths of 83 people - mostly children.

We can’t let that tragedy repeat in Texas. The MMR vaccine is 97% effective at preventing measles. Let’s stop the spread.

It's been a lot for a while now and today was especially troubling. πŸ˜” Maybe tomorrow can bring us a few reasons to be more optimistic.

The most aggravating thing in all this (to me) is the sheer number of you, who believe Black people got high-paying jobs on account of their skin color and not their qualifications. That standards were lowered for us, when the truth is the bars are 10 times higher for us.

1. After 107 days of campaigning, VP Harris came within 1.5% of becoming our first Black woman POTUS. Plenty of people were extremely excited.

2. Anyone who refused to support her against an existential threat to our country because they weren't "excited" is too irresponsible to listen to.

Well the award for most cowardly, boot-lickingest academic society has squarely gone to the American Society of Microbiology, who has taken down features of various non-white scientists. Absolutely pathetic behavior. Those articles are now coming up as β€œunder review”. Truly sickening cowardice here.
