The conservation & restoration of Abbeyleix Bog stemmed from local action in 2000. In 2020 active raised bog had increased by 1250% in the preceding 11yrs with a reduction of C02 emissions of >50%.

I may regret saying this, but the #11 bus was possibly the most unreliable & useless bus route in Dublin. I cannot count the number of times I have stood in rain and howling winds in Ranelagh or O'Connell St for it not to bother turning up. One bank holiday, two of them didn't show #headscratcher

We don't want to become TOO mollycoddled.
