Kinda like Path of Achra, it's a coffee-break roguelike based on making crazy OP builds to survive one-screen battle encounters - a clever and brutal mix of traditional roguelikes like DCSS & modern stuff like Slay the Spire.

Like everything, it's part of a way larger conversation and not something you can fill in just a few posts on a social network anyway. There's no simple fix. Discoverability is an issue, but studio organization even more (for the AA+ space). Indies market has different issues.

LRT (& its Q): one of the main issues of the industry atm from my perspective, is a mix of people not passionate about something being in charge of teams, and people passionate about things wanting too much money for things people won't buy. It's a mix of lack of realism and fear of risk.

Also gotta say for DOA7: you can tell Hayashi is back and handling all those things (like for 5) lol. Whether it's the thumbnail of 7's trailer, the words used, the new outfits and choices in 6LR...
He's a producer that has a lot of power at KT, so it helps obviously. Different era but not just that

As well as some mystery stuff there too obviosuly: what kind of gameplay updates will it get? For how long while 7 is being developed? Will it be a different team and end up like VF5 and 6? How much DLC is included from the start?
Plenty of stuff to think about, even if I'm obviously glad it's back

What I mean by mixed details for DOA6LR...
+ : tickets & hair colors are gone, there's some kind of save transfer, it's only 40€, it'll have new characters, graphical updates...
- : Mai and Kula seems to be gone (maybe back as DLC?), doesn't seem like there will be any netcode update, DLC again...

Didn't post here about it, but that was a great State of Play. Super excited about DOA coming back obviously (even if 7's artstyle worries me and 6LR details are mixed so far), but also MGS, Rev.Noir (apparently Tri Ace's new game), the tenchu spinoff, John Wick by Saber, Control Resonant...

some wild labyrinth of touhou tri patch notes: the dev read complaints in steam reviews that dungeons were "too complicated," so they removed some puzzles entirely... but when they realized it was just a vocal minority and MOST players liked them, they rolled back the patch
