The talk is actually next week, not tomorrow, sorry for any confusion!
Yes, it will be recorded and made available on YouTube.
I’ll share readings along with the presentation. I'm also working on a digital resource specifically tailored to DH data to guide through the visualisation process.
What is "good" data presentation and why should #DH care?
Visualisation is not only a technical skill, but a humanistic act.
I give my thoughts on where to draw the line literally and figuratively, and why humanists are not only well-equipped but also needed in discussions about data vusualisation.
YouTube video thumbnail with a lilac background. On the left in a circular frame is a black and white image of Heiða Rafnsdottir, wearing a baseball cap and a pair of glasses. She is looking directly at the camera. Text in the middle of the thumbnail reads: "'Cultural Heritage in a Virtual Fantasy World', Heiða Rafnsdottir, Partity Games". Below are institutional logos.
What connects #Gaming & #CulturalHeritage items when it comes to learning? Heiða Rafnsdottir from Partity Games discusses that in this presentation from the Centre for Digital Humanities & Arts, & the Gunnar Gunnarson Institute in Iceland, for #TrainingTuesday 🇮🇸

Finding #DH resources in Iceland just got easier
We’ve launched a new resource list! 👇
