Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

That was so fucking huge! Literally made one postseason appearance before then, and hadn’t had a single hit since early September!

It truly was a roller coaster of a World Series! As much as I love this team and always will, there were several times when I was so down that I said aloud “just give Toronto the trophy”. So glad that my team showed up when I needed them most, like a hero in a western!

I was mostly in Hollywood and I was with my parents (regrettably, I don’t live on my own) and they would not stop gasping in shock at seeing the occasional plastic grocery bag in the street not terribly far from the hotel we were at. As if that was some great crime or some shit, pardon my language.

LA was everything I hoped it would be and then some! My only regret? That I only got to spend three days there. I don’t think I stopped smiling once in all the time I was in LA, not even when I slept! I wish I could have stayed there forever, or at least a whole month.

And now you know one of several reasons why I wanna leave Texas for California. I’m not exaggerating too much when I say that I think I left my heart in LA when I visited there last year.
